About
An intimate evening of raw, heartfelt music from local artists Molly Walsh and Major Danby. Molly Walsh is a young singer-songwriter based in Brighton who writes indie folk songs combining powerful vocals and moving lyrics that encapsulate the complexity of teenage life in an original and honest way. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Adrianne Lenker, Julia Jacklin and Nick Drake, Molly takes the audience on a journey of emotional reflection. For this show she will be joined by Phoebe Roberts, Orin Duck and Loretta Rest.
Major Danby is the songwriting partnership of Dan Boyle & Karl Stanford. Writing and recording together since 2003, Major Danby was formed in 2015; so far releasing six studio albums, alongside their 2025 EP, Anonymity.
Their style is very eclectic and ranges from delicate acoustic songs to more electronic, and alt indie tracks, all with strong melodies and clever word-smithery.
