This event will start with a talk from Issac Samuels talking about disability justice, history and the future of community activism. Isaac Samuels OBE is a queer, disabled, brown social changemaker, speaker and activist working at the intersection of mental health, disability justice and racial equity. Drawing from lived experience and community organising, Isaac uses storytelling and co-production to challenge systems, amplify unheard voices, and reimagine what inclusion truly looks like. From navigating mental health challenges to influencing national conversations on social change, Isaacs work centres dignity, belonging and collective power.

This event will be run by Queer Heritage South and will have opportunities to archive your personal history as well as explaining the importance of archiving queer history.
