Clemsworth House is falling down and visitors are scarce. Facing financial ruin, owner Basil Neville is prepared to resort to desperate measures to hang on to his ancestral home. Meanwhile, his faithful band of volunteers - fuelled by copious cups of tea - are hoping for a miracle. Or failing that, a lottery win. Could newcomer Alex hold the key to Clemsworths future? And will the present finally catch up with the past?
