About

Join tour guide Nick Richmond for a stroll around the quaint village of Rottingdean near Brighton, and and discover its rich cultural and historical heritage.

Kipling lived here for 5 years, from 1897-1902 and wrote some of his finest work here, including Stalky and Co, and the Just So stories.

We will go to the house and gardens where he lived, learn about the smuggling trade that was rife in the village, and discover some of the famous artists who made Rottingdean their home.

After the tour there is a free concert on Rottingdean Terraces, the VOX Beatles.

Look forward to seeing you there
