The Create Music Youth String Ensemble brings together some of the most exciting young musicians from Brighton & Hove and East Sussex for a programme full of energy, colour and promise.
This talented ensemble will perform music for strings by Leoš Janáček, Libby Croad, and Felix Mendelssohn, placing classical tradition alongside more contemporary voices. Janáček’s distinctive musical language, Croad’s fresh and engaging writing, and Mendelssohn’s youthful String Symphony No. 10 in B minor offer a varied and expressive programme.
Join us for an uplifting recital celebrating young musical talent. The performance offers a chance to hear the next generation of musicians in a welcoming and informal setting, as they bring together focus, imagination and enthusiasm in a programme that looks both to the past and the future.
