About

Oh So Swedish Arts & Crafts - “A Breeze of Sweden on the Brighton Riviera”

A Swedish Studio & Workshop right on Brighton Seafront, situated right on the beach, just East of the iconic Brighton Palace Pier.

Oh So Swedish Arts & Crafts, besides being in a prime location with breathtaking views of the sea and the pier, offers a surprising contrast with a Swedish and Nordic "Smörgåsbord" of handmade Scandinavian unique and quirky products.

Oh So Swedish make and sell limited editions of handmade arts & crafts created by individuals from all corners of Sweden, inspired by the Nordic nature & traditions, sometimes mixed with influences of the Swedish modern urban society.

We wish to give all visitors both a pleasant experience of a Swedish & Nordic atmosphere, plus to offer an opportunity to find something amongst our wide range of handmade gifts & homeware products which are not available elsewhere in Brighton.

In Oh So Swedish you will find limited editions of handmade items made of wood, ceramic, textile, Nostalgia cards & posters, recycled & upcycled items plus a small range of items made of real Brighton Beach driftwood.

As a compliment to the Swedish handmade products we also offer a selection of Swedish Sweets, Salty Liquorice and Wild Lingonberry Jam.

  • NEW arrivals: My own designed Ecofriendly & compostable Swedish Printed Dishcloths plus Grönsåpa (Green liquid soap) a classic  cleaner since 125 years, made from pine oil.
  • The very successful Brighton " Oh So Swedish VIKING EXPRESS"  Home delivery by bike during lockdown will continue when the Oh So Swedish Arts & Crafts shop is open.

Stasher - Brighton & Hove left luggage services right at Brighton pier! - Simply book online and then drop your bags in store. It's that easy. Luggage storage will re-open from July 1.
