Brighton and the Sussex coast are the birthplace of UK beachside sauna culture. Since Victorian times, these shores have drawn people to the water’s edge - to restore, to gather, and to connect.
The Brighton Sauna Festival, designed and hosted by the British Sauna Society, celebrates this heritage with three days of rituals, seaside joy, and modern coastal sauna experiences.
Set directly on Brighton beach, this is a space for community and connection - where the heat of the sauna meets the freshness of the sea.
Across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the Brighton Sauna Festival brings together a curated collection of saunas, practitioners, and experiences from across the UK and beyond.
