About

Author and ecologist Lee Schofield is a landscape-scale thinker and a huge influence in the conservation world.

You'll hear him talk about the pioneering nature recovery work he carried out at Haweswater in the Lake District, where he spent over a decade as RSPB Site Manager and which he documented in his award-winning first book, Wild Fell. Lee is currently working on one of the largest landscape recovery projects in the country, and once again has found himself butting up against a national park system that seems to give little regard to species and habitats. He'll talk about his new book, which will look at what we might learn from national parks overseas to help us reinvigorate nature in our own.

Join Isabella Tree and Charlie Burrell for an inspiring evening, starting with a welcome glass of bubbly, followed by Lee's talk, with audience Q&A, book signing and three-course dinner at Knepp's Michelin-rated Wilding Kitchen.
