Let's share and celebrate the excitingData Science and Artificial Intelligencerelated research that is being conducted across the University.

Were looking forward to hosting our annual research symposium - Sussex AI Day on Monday 19th January 2026. This will be an internally focused whole day event. Please register using your Sussex email address.

This year we invite our community to present research work in the form of talks, posters or demos. We are also including a new category, of project pitch, where you can tell us about a new idea or problem you are looking for collaborators to help you solve. We are excited to announce ourkeynote speaker is prof. Eleni Vasilaki - Head of the Machine Learning research group, Member of the Complex Systems Modelling research group at the University of Sheffield.

These will be used by the University for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media or in any third party publication.
