About

The Wild Mind Project provides emotional and mental well-being support to young people (aged 18-25).

Our programmes include a range of nature activities, including nature walks, conservation work, citizen science, gardening and natural history learning. We combine this with creative activities such as foraging for plants to make cloth dyes or oak wasp galls to make ink, clay modelling, painting, weaving, woodwork or cooking on an open fire. We talk while we work, enabling young people to share personal and collective struggles while forming a new supportive friendship group.
