2024 is a Leap Year which means we get an extra day, so why not use that as an excuse to take a leap & do something new?

The Living Coast by Bike

Perhaps you prefer pedalling to leaping? Why not use this leap day to explore the Living Coast by Bike? With a range of routes suited to all it's a great way to visit the Downs, Towns and Coast. 


The Treason Show at Ironworks

Leap into an evening of laughter with a trip to Ironworks to see The Treason Show - with an eagerly anticipated election in the air there is plenty of fodder for these satirical jokesters. 


The Woman in Black

This new staging of the classic tale comes to the Theatre Royal Brighton direct from the West End, whether you've seen the play before or not we know audiences will leap at the chance to catch this thrilling production.

Why not take a leap into comedy that challenges common miconceptions? This show comes to Brighton Dome hot off the back of a smash-hit run at the Edinbugh Fringe and is a smart, scathing satire on the monetisation of identity politics that spares no one.

Why not use this extra day to take a leap into the unknown and lock yourself in a room as you solve the clues and try to escape within the time limit? There a few Escape Rooms in Brighton but we recommend trying either Pier Pressure or Bewilder Box


Seahorse Hotel

Leap into the the Seahorse hotel this February and have fun learning all about these amazing animals!  


Ghost Walk of the Lanes

Leap into the spirit world on this spooky trail through the twisting alleyways of The Lanes. 


SIXES Social Cricket

Don't worry if you know nothing about cricket, we're not asking you to leap to Lord's! Sixes is a fun experience where visitors can test their batting skills against a series of balls bowled by a virtual bowler.


Brighton Toy & Model Museum

Take a leap into nostalgia as you explore this quirky museum which is home to one of the finest public collections of toys and models in the world with over 10,000 exhibits on display.


Brighton i360

While 'Drops' are sometimes available today we don't want you to leap from the pod but simply use this additional day to relax and enjoy the spectacular 360 degree views of the sea, city and countryside. 


Helm Gallery

Helm Gallery is a new addition to the Brighton art scene so take a leap and explore this gallery space comprising of a rotating selection of limited-edition prints and highly sought after original pieces.


Depot

With Oscar season approaching you may want to head to Depot to see a film but did you know they also host wine tasting evenings? On 29 February you can leap into the Loire Vallery and sample elegant Chenin Blancs and crisp Sancerres. 


Food & Drink

If you decide to eat out this Leap Day then don't forget to share the love and leap over to the BRAVOs to cast your vote in this year's restaurant awards


Shop 'til you Drop

Leap Day is also pay day for many of us so why not peruse the shops of Brighton to find yourself a special memento? Whether it's the boutiques of The Lanes, vintage stores of the North Laine, well-loved brands in Churchill Square or the independent stores of Hove, the seafront or the Open Market you're bound to find a lovely leap year souvenir.
