Candles & Cameos for Two brings pairs together for an intimate creative workshop in Brighton. Couples, friends and family members work side by side to create scented candles and cameo-style artwork in a relaxed evening setting.

Start the evening by making your own scented candle. Learn how the wax behaves, understand the difference between fragrance oils and essential oils, and choose a scent that suits you. Prepare your wick, measure and mix your wax and fragrance, and pour your candle, with the option to add delicate decorative elements if you wish.

While the candles cool, create cameo portraits of each other using simple silhouette techniques. Choose a classic black-and-contrast style or take a more contemporary approach using paint or collage. Clear examples and step-by-step guidance support you throughout, with a focus on observation and character rather than precision.

Enjoy Prosecco and evening nibbles during the session, turning the workshop into a shared creative experience rather than a formal class.

The workshop runs with a maximum of four pairs, keeping the experience personal, calm and unhurried. Leave the evening with two handmade candles and two cameo artworks, all created during the session and ready to take home or gift.
