A Way Of Natural Being - Mindfulness in Nature
Health & Wellbeing
Come away with me and have a day out in nature like no other.
Learn techniques for shifting your awareness, changing how you use your senses, and even improve how you think and feel! And turn being in the wild into a whole new experience.
I am Alistair Duncan, a workshop facilitator, ecopsychologist and coach. I offer a number of workshops and experiences in beautiful woodland settings around Brighton and Hove and the surrounding countryside. Working in partnership with a number of great local organisations, such as Sussex Wildlife Trust, The Brighton and Lewes Downs Biosphere (Living Coast), the Wilderlands Wild Weekend team and The Secret Campsite, I offer you unique and highly immersive days out that are fun, educational and a great boost to your well-being.
A recent participant described a day with me as:
“An opportunity to stop, to truly stop and put your whole life in perspective, which is so rare. The day felt like a soothing balm, to get out of the constant stress and whirlwind of day-to-day life. It’s about mindfulness and connecting, at a deep level, to nature, in the most beautiful setting.”
There are two workshops that you can book this late summer.
Both will help you reap the rewards of a deeper experience of sensitivity, connection and awareness of nature, and greater relaxation, mental clarify and wellbeing on the inside too!
Breathing through the Feet – The venue is some quiet woods at the edge of Brighton’s fantastic Stanmer Park. This workshop includes a contemporary Sussex ploughman’s lunch, all ingredients sourced from small local producers. Yummy!
Mindfulness in Nature – the same workshop content but without the lunch. However, the venue is a magical wood, not usually open to the public, at Sussex Wildlife Trust’s flagship Wood’s Mill nature reserve near Henfield, 10 miles from Brighton. Click here for more info
